Pane is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI tools connect to outside data. That means you're not locked into any single app. If your AI tool supports MCP, it works with Pane.

Yes. For each linked bank or card, you choose how much to share: full access, balances only, balances with merchant names hidden, or completely hidden. These settings are enforced before any data leaves Pane.
Yes. All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Your bank connections are individually encrypted, and your API keys are hashed so they can never be recovered, only verified.
No. Pane never sells, shares, or monetizes your financial data. Your data is only used to provide the service you signed up for. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Everything is deleted immediately and permanently. Your linked accounts, transactions, API keys, and all connections are removed. This cannot be undone.
